Studio Unother is an upholstery and interiors studio based in Hither Green, South East London. The studio was established in late 2025 by founder Mariel Reed.

After a career in fashion, followed by years as a corporate creative in London, this native New Yorker made the decision to pursue her real passion: traditional interiors and craft. Mariel is currently training as an upholsterer on the AMUSF course at ELFI in London, immersing herself in the techniques and traditions behind the craft.

Through learning traditional upholstery methods and sourcing and selling unique pieces for the home, Mariel hopes to bring that same passion to clients across Hither Green and the wider South East London area — creating pieces with real craft and character behind them.
