Studio Unother was established in late 2025 by Mariel Reed. After a career working in fashion, then as a corporate creative in London, this native Brooklynite decided to persue her passion in historic interiors. Currently re-training to become an upholsterer on the AMUSF course at ELFI in London, Mariel has fully immersed herself in the beauty and traditions of historic design. She hopes that by learning traditional upholstery techniques and sourcing and selling unique pieces for the home, she can share that passion with others.
